25 YEARS AND GOING STRONG!
The 9 A.M. Talk Net started during the 1980's when Arv, WA6UUT, and friends met at 1000 to help new hams. The tradition continues! Learn about our net history, procedures, and net control operators (past and present). (Download the latest Net Script).

AM-TECH DAY ON APRIL 24th: Come to Amateur Radio Technology Day on Saturday, April 24th, from 0800-2100 at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in Menlo Park. Thanks to the SLAC NAL for all the support! Food, fun, comraderie... be there.
 

TUBES & TUBE TESTERS: The flea markets are a great source for tubes and tube testers. Here are a few retailers where you can also find and test tubes.

The 9 A.M. Talk Net meets on ham radio weekdays at 0900 PT in the San Francisco Bay Area on N6NFI/R (145.230 MHz, 100Hz PL).
 
We are not affiliated with any club, do not have a set topic, and especially encourage new hams to check-in and ask questions.
